Position Overview
West Shore Parks & Recreation is looking for an outgoing individual to work as a bartender/box suite server.
The bartender role may be required to work on bars, in the concession for Jr. games where alcohol is served or as a Box server to 10 private groups residing in the box suites during the game seasons. Team members be responsible for all bar setup, take down, clean up and all service. Handles cash in the prescribed manner, maintains cleanliness of the bar, and follows Liquor Control and Licensing policies.
The position will include a staff membership to WSPR and the ability to play on our 9-hole golf course.
This is a part-time job, 3-4 shifts per month, depending on games. Perfect for students or professionals
Qualifications
- Experience bartending & serving in a high-volume bar or lounge.
- Can demonstrate excellent organization skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ensures safe handling of beverages, while maintaining cleanliness & excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all departments, in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs on a regular basis, and 50lbs occasionally.
- Requirement to be of legal age and possess a “Serving it Right” certificate.
- Successful completion of Food Safe course is an asset.
