Position Overview
West Shore Parks & Recreation (WSPR) is seeking energetic and outgoing Concession Attendants to work in The Q Centre Arena concession providing amazing customer service; order taking; and ensuring surrounding areas are spiffy clean, while doing basic food preparation and kitchen services. In addition to being a part of a wonderful team, this person will also be eligible for a staff membership to WSPR and the ability to play on our 9-hole golf course. Anticipated start date, first week of August.
This is a part-time job, one or two shifts per week, depending on games. Perfect for students or professionals.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Experience with cash handling and completing cash outs.
- Experience with industrial kitchen equipment an asset.
- Experience in food preparation, safe handling of food, cleanliness, and kitchen safety an asset.
- Successful completion of, or working towards Food Safe certification is an asset.
- Serving it Right certification is an asset.
- Any concession experience is an asset.
A clear and current criminal record check is a condition of employment and is the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
