Position Overview
We are looking for outgoing individuals to work as a Bartender. This position will work on bar in the concession for games where alcohol is served, or may pick up shifts as a server to 10 private groups residing in box suites.
In addition to great wages, we offer an additional 14% in pay, per hour, in lieu of benefits; access to counselling; a staff facility pass which provides drop-in access to the weightroom, fitness classes, skating, pool, as well as the ability to play on our 9-hole golf course.
Job Duties and Accountabilities
- Ensures safe handling of beverages while maintaining cleanliness & excellent customer service.
- Bar setup, take down, clean up and all service.
- Handles cash in the prescribed manner.
- Follows Liquor Control and Licensing policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience bartending & serving in a high-volume bar or lounge.
- Must be of legal age and possess a “Serving it Right” certificate.
- Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all departments, in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs on a regular basis, and 50lbs occasionally.
- A current/valid Food Safe certification is considered an asset.
